ABAT is Comprised of Five Membership Levels

General Member

a) Shall be any person 18 years of age or older born in Antigua and Barbuda and residing in Ontario at the time of membership or;

b) Shall be any person 18 years of age or older residing in Ontario born outside of Antigua and Barbuda of Antiguan or Barbudan descent or;

c) Shall be one who is 18 years of age or older residing in Ontario is the spouse of / affiliated with an Antiguan and Barbudan or;

d) Shall be one who is 18 years of age or older residing in Ontario is Antiguan or Barbudan by naturalization who resides in Ontario.

e) Assist individuals and groups in Canada that fall within the governance of ABAT in time of need

f) Raise funds to be used solely for the execution of programs and activities approved by the financial membership

Financial Member

Allows Nationals with General Membership, in good financial standing, to be eligible to vote and to serve as a Board of Director according to by-laws

Junior Member

A person who is under the age of 18 and is not eligible to hold office.

Associate Member

An Associate Member shall be any person who has interest in the affairs, aims and objectives of ABAT and is not eligible to hold office.  Membership must be approved by the Board of Directors.  Associate members do not have voting rights.

Honorary Member

This member shall be a person upon whom ABAT has conferred honorary membership by majority vote for outstanding contribution to the Association. This person is not eligible to hold office.  Honorary Members do not have voting rights.
